Tyler David (full name Tyler David Kuntz) has lived a life filled with music and faith from the very beginning. Growing up in Indiana, he was deeply influenced by his father, a lifelong worship leader who served both as a volunteer and on church staff. Watching his dad passionately lead worship sparked an early curiosity in Tyler — a curiosity that quickly turned into a calling.

At just six years old, Tyler began taking piano lessons and immediately fell in love with creating and playing music. His passion was fueled even more through years spent at a summer camp for youth worship leaders, where he learned to combine his love for music with a heart for ministry. Driven to express worship in new ways, Tyler taught himself to play guitar and drums, becoming a multi-instrumentalist devoted to using every gift he had for God’s glory.

As Tyler grew, so did his faith. His musical journey was never separate from his spiritual walk — the two grew hand-in-hand, each strengthening the other. As he approached college, Tyler prayed intentionally that God would open doors to use his talents to share Jesus with the world. While studying Music Production, that prayer was answered: he was approached by a development company that believed in his passion and invested in his future, giving him the opportunity to collaborate with some of Christian music’s legendary writers and producers.

Today, Tyler is part of a new generation of independent Christian artists making waves through digital platforms. Combining original worship music, relatable humor, and a genuine heart for Jesus, Tyler has built a growing global community on social media. From his home in Indiana with his wife Cierra and their two children, Tyler continues to create music that inspires, encourages, and points people back to the love of Christ.
